Leo, in many of my IM contacts, the traditional "do not forget," "never forget", "October 2, do not forget" and other platitudes that awareness and political correctness prevent bypass.
And it is not necessary to make statements in the nick of messenger to know that people are not forgotten. Or rather, by the age of my contacts, do not imagine or reconstruct the October 2, 1968. In television, radio, newspapers, no one forgets. Although poc @ s understand what can not (should?) Forget. Is
repression? I do not think because of that we had more examples, and none of them want us to remember.
"social mobilization? Nor, I see it everyday and no one put in your nick: Do not forget the 400 villages, or teachers, or a-who-are-you-go. Does the student? Either, because we do not boast 1986 and 1999.
I'd like to imagine the capacity for 68 youth to break into the political arena. As the ability to remove the entrails of social pacts that underpin the country. Since the ability to dissent, to convince, to convene. And that's something no one we like to remember. Starting with me, I prefer to watch television rather than attend the neighborhood council to improve my own building.
Today, all are accounts of repression. Sadism guilty to look at photographs of what it was. Imaginations and collective memories of what could be.
Is that the best legacy of the 68 was the grief? Ever feel that you can not do anything? Is the idea that it is better to stay at home to leave the square? Does the resignation mediocre for others to do what gives us roe do?
Somewhere, Susan Sontag said that the report must be accompanied by action. He might not say it and I made it up, but I like to think so. And the action does not see it anywhere.
So we might as well not remember. Or at least, do not boast much of our memory. Memory socket. A memory of voyeur. Only masturbates to look through the bolt, but dares not enter.
