How Saveis The Gwb Toll

PRESS, January 28, 2011

With all conviction, we play for this dream, we assume the responsibility of the discussions and decisions. This process has transformed the country and to deepen this transformation precisely the President can not exceed its functions. In the exercise of power must be willing to recognize limits, that is why we find no justification for the referendum proposal. We also believe that the questions will not solve the problems of insecurity and now facing the country, and the crisis facing justice in Ecuador.

today with great sadness we announce our separation of Agreement Country. We're not going to the opposition. Continue to support all decisions that are in line with the Constitution of Montecristi and the achievement of the good life of Ecuadorians. Clear that Ecuador needs deep changes, but those changes can not be sacrificing rights and freedoms.

The justice system also needs a radical change and not get tired of working for it, the revolutionary, in Ecuador today is creating and sustaining institutions. For the renewal of justice we all designed and defended the rules that are in the Constitution, that should be the way forward. We would have liked to have this debate in but the proposal was not discussed in any instance, and unfortunately the difference of ideas has become a conflict within an organization that was destined to be democratic and respectful of diversity.

Consistent with the decision of the National Council of La Rupture, who participated in the exercise of executive power, we give this morning to the orders entrusted to us by the President of the Republic.

This has been a tough decision for us but the issues we face consultation with the principles we have advocated.
